BRIEFING!

WELL....I have so much to stunt about....haha jk......ANYWHOO...it's been a while since I really updated you guys on my life and news, and such, so I'll do that now......So today, I found out that the sticker price on the Nike Air Yeezy's will be....drum roll please........$215!!!!!! While I must admit that it is a little pricey, I do understand that we're pretty much buyin two MAJOR names: Kanye and Nike, so I think that the price is reasonable...I ALSO know that I'll be waiting until May, because that's when the black/pink ones come out. The grey ones come out on April 4th, and the tan ones will be that last release, with June. The next order of business is all the speculation surrounding Mr. Fiasco's newest album, "We are Lasers". Lupe is currently in the studio putting together that highly-anticipated album, so I, (and my fellow Lupe fans), are VERY excited about that. Lupe himself has stated that he is about 60% done with the album, but has yet to confirm a release date. He is also working on a tour to promote this new album, so be listening up for more updates...OH! In more Kanye news, it's OFFICIAL that Ye and Christopher Milk have teamed up, and are working on a new short film. While there is a lot of speculation that this is a music video for "See You In My Nightmares", reps have only said that the song is included in the film. milk has worked with Ye on his "Flashing Lights" video, and is the director behind the upcoming film adaptation of "Where the Wild Things Are"............SO......yeah, I'm pretty much out of steam, so I'm bout to go, but stay tuned for more posts! OHHH!!! And before I forget, HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What does the world think of black people?

AHHHH...where to start.........Well I came across this video earlier this evening, and to say the least,I WAS DISGUSTED. The whole video is these three young women booty dancing for 3:18.. I'm sorry, I can't even call it dancing, that's an insult to people with REAL talent. Now, when I thought that the video couldn't possibly get any worse, the one in the white pants had her "solo" from about 1:30-1:52....Now, I have so much to write about this video, but I'll try to keep it short...FIRST off, this song is GARBAGE. Obviously it takes NO musical talent to make a record these days...Then these girls had the AUDACITY to post a video of them degrating themselves??? I'd LOVE to know how they think this is gonna benefit them...Now if they're aspiring strippers, they're set. The three minutes that they spent videotaping this FILTH could've been used SO much better....Unfortunately, many of the YouTube viewers actually ENJOYED this, and I read one comment that said "this is why I love black girls". That speaks for itself. You'd think that with a black President, black people would actually be motivated to better themselves, but according to this video, that's obviously not the case. We'd rather spend time degrating ourselves, and our RACE, and then wonder why we're constantly looked down upon. I'd love to see Dr.King's response to this video if he were still alive........

It's Amazing.....So Amazing.......

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kanye is SO creative. In the new issue of Complex Magazine, (set to hit stands this week!!!), Kanye shows us again why he's one of the most BRILLIANT people on this Earth. This cover isn't like others that you've seen before. In this issue, " The Louis Vuitton Don" is TOTALLY computerized. The photographer for all this was Chris Milk, who also directed some of Ye's videos, like "Jesus Walks", and "Touch the Sky". The pictures are SO amazing. After picking up the issue of Vibe with Ye on the cover a month or two ago, I'm REALLY excited for another Kanye interview. ALSO in the magazine, is a little section that takes the reader behind-the-scenes into the making of the Nike Air Yeezy, which is set to hit stores in April.......I CANNOT WAIT TO PICK UP THIS ISSUE OF COMPLEX!!!!!!

Ok, well I was on Kanye's blog today, and I was viewing his pics from his show in Austin last night. Of course "Martin Louie the King Jr" was dressed very well, but I can't help but ask: Is Kanye going back to his pre-808's self? I mean a couple months ago he was rocking the mullet-type thing, (which i liked), with bow ties, and varsity jackets. Now his hair is back to "normal", and it seems as though he's dressing like he did back in the Graduation-era. No, don't get me wrong, I don't think that he doesnt look fly, but I thought its a little weird that he went from rocking sweaters and a beard, to being clean-shaven, and wearing normal, yet fly clothes.....IDK, maybe Amber's having influence on him.....(Oh! btw, peep the Air Yeezys in the pic below!!!)

Today.

hmmmmm...HELLO FANS!! Today was a pretty good day at skewl, but then again, fridays are almost ALWAYS good for me. I'm SO ready for the weekend. I think I might hit up Black Sheep if they have my size in the Supra's I wanted......apart from that, I don't really have any more plans YET......(boo hoo)........on a TOTALLLY different note, I was reading a story today about Beyonce spending $11,000 in about 20 minutes at Patricia Field's Bowery boutique in NYC. Apparently, people actualy, a)CARE, and b)are mad...There is also a similar "hooplah" surrounding the news that Mariah Carey (sigh), and Nick Cannon are bidding on "The World's Most Expensive Mansion", located in Feur de Lys, in Beverly Hills. The mansion is said to be priced at about $125 million. NOW, what I can't seem to grasp is why people think that celebrities should be spending less in our current economic situation. These are two LOADED women, and if they have the resources to buy these expensive amenities, then by ALL means, LET THEM!! People don't understand that while we, (normal people), may be really feeling the affect of the depression, MOST celebs ARE NOT. Now, do I think that a diamond-encrusted bra is even worth it? NO. But if you have the money for it, then by ALL means, spend as you wish, cause you best believe, if I were in any of these ladies economic situations, I'd be splurging on SNEAKERS. Now, to most people that's stupid, but to me, sneakers are one of the important things to me...................AHHHH! That feels good to get off my chest.........Well, I'm pretty much done for now, but I'll be back either later on tonight, or tomorrow......KEEP IT FUNKY.

Now, don't get too excited folks, becasue this futuristic whip is priced at $194,000. Now, a lot of people may think that this is a lot of money, but honestly, it's really not, when you look at cars like the Bugatti Veyron, which starts at 1.5 million. So, looking from the perspective of the wealthy, this is chump change. But that also makes me wonder about the safety of this vehicle....
